House Rules
Find games at your ELO range in #🚩rf-lobbies & #🐎nomad-lobbies. Generally need some TG experience with 1100+ 1v1 ELO preferred if you're new to BF/Nomad.
Come hang out in voice! We welcome new players & the easiest way to become known is to intro yourself to our regular players or watch any live discord streams.
Lobby games are generally first come first served with priority given to those on voice chat. Spots are not guaranteed at any level, so please ask host if room is full
Be generally respectful, while allowing for friendly banter/trash talk.
People who verifiably Alt+F4, ELO boost, rage quit, trolls and assholes will be banned/blacklisted:name_badge::no_entry_sign:
Rage Quitting
Contrary to what many of you believe, the "Rage" in Rage Forest has nothing to do with anger. In fact, "raging" is American slang for "partying" and that was the original intent of the name. We're noticing increasing levels of rage quitting in the discord, especially from players who refuse to join voice chat for their own reasons.
*We do not tolerate rage quitting in this discord*
Why? Because it wastes 7 other people's time and ESPECIALLY because RF is one of those maps where 3v4 or even 2v4 wins are possible. Many times the "dead" player can reboom quickly with full sling from boomed and popped pockets.
Therefore, please observe the following courtesy rules when playing team games in #🚩rf-lobbies
ALWAYS check with your teammates before you want to quit the game. If you are not on voice, please use game chat and get a confirmation from the other side
No matter how "over" the game feels to you, you cannot make a unilateral decision in a team game. ALWAYS check, regardless of your opinion of the state of the game
Refrain from flaming, arguing, blaming and otherwise toxic behavior in the game or by posting long post game analysis essays. Nobody really cares.
It's common general courtesy to end with "GG" even if you didn't enjoy the game
Being on voice chat with your teammates oftentimes leads to better comms and a better overall gaming experience. This is why we encourage plajers to join voice, even if it's on mute
