Rage Forest 4 Tournament Schedule

Please review the following schedule and scheduling rules carefully. By signing up to the tournament, you are agreeing to abide by the scheduling rules at the bottom of this post. If you have a known scheduling conflict with any of the fixed Playoff Stage Match times, please do not sign up

Whenever a set time is finalized, the times will be posted first on Discord under #rf4-schedule and the tournament website. Liquipedia and AOEZone are updated by the community shortly thereafter

Draft Day  - Wednesday, March 1 2023 live at 17 GMT

Group Stage: Monday, Mar 27 - Friday, April 14

Playoffs Stage - Round of 8: Saturday, Apr 15 and Sunday, Apr 16 @ 15 GMT onwards

Semi Finals: Saturday, Apr 22 @ 15 GMT onwards

Grand Finale + 3rd Place Match: Sunday, Apr 23 15 GMT onwards

Rage Forest 3 Scheduling Rules 

Group Stage: Monday, Mar 27 - Friday, April 14 

• This round is open scheduling - all teams are free to choose a mutually convenient time that works for them.
  

• Opening Round - All opening round games MUST be finished by Apr 6

• Winners Circle/Elimination Round - All elimination round games MUST be completed by Apr 10

• Decider Matches - All decider matches MUST be completed by Apr 14

Note: Captains, please submit the civ draft one day before your scheduled start

Playoffs Stage - Round of 8: Saturday, Apr 16 and Sunday, Apr 17 starting @ 15 GMT

• This round is fixed scheduling - There are 4 matches and the scheduled start time cannot be within 3 hrs of another previously confirmed time.

• If you are unable to play on these days at these times, please do not sign up for Rage Forest 4

• All sets need to be FINAL by Friday April 14

Playoffs Stage - Semi Finals: Saturday, Apr 22 starting @ 15 GMT

• The Semi Finals are fixed times

• Semi Final 1 will start promptly at 15 GMT

• Semi Final 2 will start right after Semi Final 1 ends

• If you are unable to play on these days at these times, please do not sign up for Rage Forest 4

Grand Finals + 3rd Place Match: Sunday, Apr 23 starting @ 15 GMT

• The Grand Finale and 3rd Place Match are fixed times.

• If you are unable to play on this day at this time, please do not sign up for Rage Forest 4

• 3rd Place Match starts promptly at 15 GMT on Sunday, Apr 23, 2023

• Grand Finale Match will be played after 3rd Place Match ends

Game Day Rules

Please make sure you follow these rules to ensure a smooth and seamless tournament:

• Game 1 must start exactly at the scheduled start time. It is the players' responsibility to check mods/hotkeys, join the lobby and be ready to start. Restarts because of hotkey or mod issues are NOT allowed

• Higher seeded captain must submit Civ Draft one day before scheduled game start

• After 30 minutes of scheduled start, if a team does not have 4 players, they will be forced to forfeit Game 1

• After 45 minutes of scheduled start, if a team still does not have 4 players, they will be forced to forfeit Game 2

• After 60 minutes of scheduled start, if a team still does not have 4 players, that team will be forced to take an Admin Loss for the Match and will be removed from the tournament.

• Players who are unresponsive, egregiously late or players violating any of these rules are likely to face a one-tournament suspension

• Tournament admins will judge forfeitures, admin losses, suspensions and other penalties on a case by case basis
